Green tea shortbread cookies in Christmas Tree cutouts!
I think I’m really into the Christmas spirit, I actually read reminder as reindeer.
It’s hard not to get into it when it’s one of the major festive seasons where decorations are everywhere! Christmas is also everywhere on the web, from Pinterest, to Tumblr, to Facebook. From friends’ photos, to gift and wrapping ideas (by the way check out World Label for some free cute gift tags!), to festive sales (hah!), to all the wonderful bakes.
It’s a happy relaxed time.
It’s a time where I often bookmark way too many recipes for my own good. So I’m going to share some interesting bakes I found so far this year, but have no time to try them. Maybe you can try your hand at a homemade treat for your love ones 😉
Hot chocolate with cinnamon and orange liquor by Linda Lomelino from Amelia. This simple hot chocolate recipes packs in extra warmth, especially good for a cold winter day (or rainy day here in Singapore!)
Adorable and playful little Christmas tree meringues from Crumbs and Corkscrew!
Bundt cakes are so beautiful just out of the pan – like this gingerbread cake from Movita Beaucoup. I can imagine having this cake warmed, along with some good vanilla ice cream.
A Beautiful Mess teaches you how to transform a 9 x 13 sheet cake into a Christmas tree, with a free template on their site. This is a great project to make with kids – they can then decorate the tree with candies 😉
Maple chocolate pecan pie from the Sugar Hit. I got hooked at maple and pecan, and the little trees and stars on top of the pie haha!
An igloo cake. Too cute and so creative! From the cake blog 😀
Looking for something more traditional? How about some Panettone, an Italian Christmas bread? This recipe is from the Brown Eyed Baker. It’s definitely a bread I love to try soon, they’re perfect as little gifts!
There are so many more Christmas recipes out there, and I want to share them but the the list will be very very long 😉 Anyway hope you all are enjoying the festive holidays!
